"THE MACK ATTACK"
This 1994 Class A engine was custom built by New Lexington, which includes a 1750 gpm single stage Darley pump (with electronic valves), 1000 gallon tank, 20 gallon class "A" inline foam tank, 20 gallon AFFF inline foam tank, 7.5 kw Onan generator, VHF, UHF, and low band radios (46 and 33 mhz), 1200' of 5" LDH, 2 speed lays of 2" hose, 2 cross lays of 2" hose, rear lay of 2-1/2" hose, front jump line of 1-3/4" hose, deck gun, 2 hard suction tubes, 2 pike poles, ladders, 1800 gallon port-a-tank

Engine71 serves as our first out apparatus for vehicle accidents and structure fire. Engine 71 is setup as a rescue/pumper. We have future plans of updating the rescue system with cutters, airbags, and hydraulic rams. There is seating for 7, with 3 mask seats in the closed canopy of the cab. All of our SCBA's were updated in 1999, with MSA 45 minute high pressure bottles featuring the Dragon fly Auto PASS alarms. This truck was partially funded by the borough of Freeport and by the Fire Department
Freeport Fire-Rescue with the help pf Armstrong County has just added a AED to the unit!

This 1987 Mack Class A engine was custom built and includes a 1500 gpm two stage Waterous pump, 750 gallon tank, 6.5 kw Onan gas generator, UHF, VHF, and low band radios (46 and 33mhz), 12--' of 4" LDH, 5 cross lays of 2" hose, 2 rear lays of 3" hose, front jump line 3" hose, side jump line of 1-3/4" hose, deck gun, 2 hard suction tubes, 2 pike poles, ladders.
